"My work is about translating energy, emotion, and lived experience into abstract form. I build paintings through layers of color, movement, and intuitive mark-making, allowing each piece to evolve through a dialogue between control and spontaneity. The symbols, lines, and gestures that appear throughout my work form a personal visual language shaped by memory, music, human connection, and the rhythms of everyday life. Whether I'm working on canvas, murals, jackets, or hats, I'm interested in creating art that feels accessible, immersive, and alive. Rather than offering a fixed narrative, my work invites viewers to slow down, look deeper, and discover new meanings through repeated engagement and shifting perspectives. Through my practice, I explore ideas of belonging, identity, and cultural connection while examining the role of the contemporary artist as both participant in and observer of the culture that surrounds them."
